Advocating for You is the project of Rebecca Provinse. With her background in Clinical Psychology, Rebecca brings her innate ability to advocate for alternative applications to her work here. She has worked for Washington University’s School of Medicine in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program. She also served as an Education Coordinator for Saint Louis University’s School of Medicine. She is especially passionate about justice in Healthcare.
At a time when your loved one has been diagnosed with a life altering illness, Rebecca remains calm and looks for a solution. With her experience in the medical industry, she has a knack for reading medical reports and knows the right questions to ask healthcare providers. When struggling to find your voice during a difficult time, Rebecca provides educational and rational help. She also uses her knowledge to support parents with their child’s IEP, or Individualized Education Plan, in helping them assert themselves with the education system and learn ways to advocate for their child in school and at IEP meetings.
